OPEN POSITION
School-Based Therapist (Tyler County Schools) - Clinical Dept.
To provide comprehensive, trauma-focused, professional and ethical mental health care to clients while representing Harmony’s mission statement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the provision of individual, group, and family psychotherapy. Manages a caseload of outpatient school-based and other clients. Specific tasks, duties and responsibilities outside of the general description of this position’s primary functions are assigned by the Chief Program Officer, Director of Education and/or Executive Staff in order to meet the needs of the individual client, specific program, or of those within the agency.

Conducts individual, group and family psychotherapy in a manner consistent with ethical practices and within the skill level of the practitioner.

Provides services in office, in school or via Telehealth.

Conducts standard intake evaluations/consultations following agency guidelines, recommending therapeutic treatment.

Performs documentation activities in a timely and accurate fashion, adhering to Medicaid Standards, State and Local licensing laws and ethics, as well as policy requirements in regard to agency formatting of documentation.

Works with staff, clients, and others in a professional, cooperative, ethical, respectful, and effective manner.

Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
-
Master’s Degree Required in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related Behavioral Health Discipline
-
Practicum or Internship experience in the role of primary therapist.
-
One-year post-graduate experience preferred, but not required.

Required: Licensed or license eligible in Counseling, Psychology, or Social Work

Valid Driver’s License
-
Valid Automobile Insurance Coverage to meet agency requirements.
-
Pass Federal and State background checks.
OPEN POSITION
Parent Educator (Charleston Office) - Social Services Dept.
Provide evidence-based curriculum to WVDHHR/CPS client referrals for Adult Life Skills and Parent Education courses, Socially Necessary Services such as safety services, supervising and monitoring parental visitations, etc., in a controlled setting providing documentation of parental/guardian interaction based on CPS referral information.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises/monitors Parental Visitations, Safety Cases, Adult Life Skills classes, Parent Education classes, and related groups.

Completes documentation in accordance with Harmony Procedure in ICAN (Practice Management System)
-
Submits weekly billing, status update emails, and monthly reports to CPS Case Workers
-
Copying supervisor on all external communications
-
Testify in court proceedings upon subpoena or as needed
-
Attend MDT hearings, department & community meetings, and other required meetings, etc.
-
Participate in weekly staff meetings or any other services or departmental planning meetings which the Director of Social Services deems necessary
-
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s Degree in a Human or Social Services related field - Required

Master’s Degree in Human or Social Services related field - Preferred

Valid WV Driver’s License & Active Car Insurance
-
Ability to drive vehicles safely while transporting passengers, using a city map/google/GPS to locate unknown destinations.

Strong computer skills for record keeping / case-management of assigned cases

Knowledge of general clerical and recording-keeping practices

Comprehensive understanding of HIPAA and Confidentiality

Ability to lift and carry small children (with or without car seat)

Ability to be a Team Member and be flexible
OPEN POSITION
Case-Aid (Charleston Office) - Social Services Dept.
Assist professional staff in a non-technical service by transporting clients, conducting site visits related to child protective services, (SV1/ Supervision/ Safety Cases) providing eyes-on observation during supervised visits, following CPS service plans.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervises/monitors Parental Visits, Safety Services, and Site Supervision

Transporting Clients when necessary to/from services
-
Completes documentation in ICAN
-
Submits weekly billing, status update emails, and monthly reports to CPS Case Workers

Copying supervisor on all external communications

Testify in court proceedings upon subpoena or as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED - Required

One year of general clerical experience preferred in Human or Social Services related fields
